Only products that meet these standards may claim to be UV blocking.
ACUVUE® OASYS™, ACUVUE® ADVANCE® and ACUVUE® ADVANCE® for ASTIGMATISM Brand Contact Lenses are the first contact lenses to be awarded the World Council of Optometry (WCO) Global Seal of Acceptance for Ultraviolet Absorbers/Blockers.
With many new contact lens products being introduced every year, the WCO Global Seal is a helpful criterion to aid eye care professional when evaluating the UV-blocking capabilities of a given contact lens.
The WCO is an international organization dedicated to the development and enhancement of eye and vision care worldwide.
